Barcode Verification Process and Conditions

Step of Barcode Verification

• Download the Barcode Verification Service Request Form. Please fill out this form completely and must be certified by authorized person with company stamp (If any).
• Send document with the final product or artwork that prints color and real size on photo paper. It can be submitted at the GS1Thailand office or by mail.
• It takes 5 working days after submitted documents and fee for registration process. Then, receiving the results of the barcode verification by own or by e-mail.

* Note: GS1 Thailand will not issue barcodes grade for artwork.

Pay for barcode verification service.

• Member will get barcode verification 20 reports per year without fee.

How to pay?
-By cash or cheque (pay to “GS1 Thailand – F.T.I”)
-Transfer to GS1 Thailand account

Barcode Verification Service Condition

1. Validate only GS1 barcode standard one-dimensional barcode (GTIN-8, GTIN-12, GTIN-13, GTIN-14, GS1-128) and two-dimensional barcode (GS1 QR Code, GS1 DataMatrix).
2. Barcode verification processing time will take 5 working days after receive sample and fee.
3. Check the quality of final product sample or artwork that prints the actual color and size on photo paper.
4. GS1 Thailand reserves the right to revise the packaging for ease of inspection, and we are not responsible for damage to sample.
5. Member are entitled to barcode verification and verification report issuing with no expense 20 reports / year in Thai or English (1 report / 1 language).
6. Barcode Verification Report is valid for 6 months.
7. Members must pick up sample within 2 weeks from the due date. If overdue we reserve the right to take appropriate action.
